There is little reason to ditch a contest which is enjoyed by those who 
take part and has far more entries than some of the microwave events.. 
And one which is not subject to the vagaries of propagation (though it 
would have been nice to have a longer inter-G opening). I had 69 QSOs 
in the Low Power contest this year, which is probably higher than many 
made in the 21/28 yesterday.

It is nice to see the optimists on here. I think it is now almost 
certain that Cycle 24 will peak in 2013 (3 years away) at a measly 
sunspot number of 90. It may well not be until the peak of Cycle 25, if 
it ever happens, around 2025, that conditions in the 21/28 are back to 
what they used to be in the good old days. Yes, I think it has had its 
day.
