Although I am t a very active contester I do think it would be a pity if
this contest were to go. One problem I think it has is that non-UK
contesters can't get into the habit of participating. It must be the only
contest that switches off for 5 years out of every eleven. Maybe it could be
brightened up a bit? I can well remember taking part in the SWL section back
in the late 1950s when it was only a phone event, (ancient modulation, of
course).

Yes, I was disappointed to miss the swan song too - pre-booked to cart
No.1 daughter and her effects to her first post-uni pad.
There are other events with less support if it's really necessary to
ditch something. Low Power Contest? I suppose that wouldn't be very PC
. . .
