Interesting.

Like many on here I guess, I enjoyed this contest firstly as an SWL and then
entering competitively once licensed  and winning outright  a few times back
in the 70s and 80s.

Past it's sell-by date now maybe, but however few the numbers if someone
gets enjoyment by dabbling for an hour or two then why deprive them of that
opportunity ?

Is there *really* a problem in  maintaining it on the calendar?
