If your looking for a "New" laptop you want go far wrong with a Dell 
Inspiron, but no serial port (most new laptops don't have them) you can 
though get a usb to serial port converter from Maplins for a few quid.  If 
your looking for a reconditioned one I would recommend taking a look on 
ebay, you could well pick up a bargain!

Yep me again, !!

I wonder if anyone can recommend a good laptop, I simply need it to run 
N1MM,
and skimmer - at the same time......also all the usual contest
simulators....Morse Runner, PED......and be good for the next few years.


It also have to be as cheap as poss!!!!.

If poss avb "off the shelf", any ideas would be great please.

I am not as young as I once was, so really looking for a decent size screen.

Any other advice from you guys would really help.
