[UK-CONTEST] Failure to Identify

There has always been DQRM. I remember it well when working DX on 80m SSB in
the early 70s. There has always been the guy who calls over the DX when DX
is working split. Lets us all say we have done it ourselves albeit
unintentionally.

Coping with QRM is part of contesting and DXing from either end of the QSO.
Good operators work through it and around it, making the QSO.

A good operator will identify frequently when working a pile up but not
necessarily every QSO.

A good operator will listen to the split pile up to work out where the DX
station will be listening for the next QSO. Then he will often make the QSO
on his first call. If he fails he will listen again to work out where he
will be listening next QSO. I like those who listen and then call on the
last QSO frequency - less competition for me on my first call.

A good non-DX operator will chat with the DX if the DX station initiates a
chat even if he is working a pile up.

There are many more good operator tips. The major one being if deliberate
QRM say nothing do nothing that indicates the DQRMer is getting to you.
