I don't think you need to be concerned about being off topic - it could
certainly be relevant.
Anyway, it's good news indeed. I wasn't aware of the Harm Assessment
criteria, but the result could be a useful precedent for others.
It makes me wonder how my second Versatower would fare.
And you should realise that if you had needed to apply for planning
permission, that would have meant more expenditure and you might have found
the amplifier difficult to fund !

This is off topic but as we keep hearing horror stories about planning
permission so I just wanted to share the fact that it's not all bad.
Some of you may already know, I put up a Cushcraft MA5B on a 10m mast a
couple of months ago. I did it without planning permission and then two
weeks later I had a visit from the council.

Bottom line - Tendring District Council are actually sensible!
