[UK-CONTEST] OT - Triangular Array

There was an article some years back in Radcom which either shorted or 
left open (could never remember) the unused feeders and turn them into 
reflectors. I did try and model this in EZNEC and I did build two 40M 
4-Square versions using either open or shorted feeders. Although it was 
good on receive and the rejection was very good the actual received 
signals were well down on my 55ft high Windom in all directions, 
probably due to lack of radials as I used two elevated radials per 
vertical.

I was reading an artical a couple of nights ago about a similar design, 
Google EA5AVL and look as his detailed .pdf file for a 40M 4 square. It 
may give you some ideas.
