Indeed. For those of us who only ever operate on CW, it would go
something like this.

Have a quick CW QSO.

Hunt for microphone buried somewhere in the shack, work out what socket
it goes in, change logging software to send just 59, not 599. Now where
is the phone section of the band?... 15 minutes later have a QSO, get 4
and 3 report, oh dear don't seem to be getting out.

Dig out digi interface (assuming I have got round to building one
beforehand). Unplug microphone to plug it into the same hole. Open up
RTTY software, now how do I drive that? Eventually get a QSO. Now on to
PSK, another 15 minutes manage to work somebody.

Quick CW QSO again.

Now where did I put that mike?... Oh, don't worry, the contest has
finished.
