Andy,
Further to my last msg, the RSGB site INFO page refers to
National Affiliated Societies but does not explain that this means
Societies who have a nationwide recruitment and not a list of all the
affiliated societies in the Nation.
All the locally recruited
Societies are listed under their relevant Region - or I guess this is
the idea. Not only is your Club not listed but mine isn't either (under
the relevant region or in my case under the adjoining regions also).
Perhaps the Regional Managers are supposed to maintain a list of
affiliated societies in their Region and that is then posted. A far
better system would be to post the names of the Societies who have paid
their subs to the RSGB in one big list. That would seem to be a way of
avoiding the error prone system currently in use, however well
intentioned that might have been in the first place.
