Hi,
A perspective from the south east.
No JO00,02,03, IO74,80,90,83.
The ones worked, JO01,IO81,82,91,92,93, yes only 5 UK squares.
These squares, 13 in total, are the ones normally worked most months. JO02
was active, as was IO74,83, just couldn't raise John for some reason, or
anyone in IO83, spent a good 15 minutes calling tht way. Briefly heard
GW8ASD working M0MCV then nil. I think the weather front straddling the
country around the NW was hampering contacts that would normally be made.
To the east better but average conditions, 10 squares worked in that
direction, ODX was DL8DAU in JO40 at 622km. Didn't hear DF9IC, normally
worked about 5 out of 12 months.
Only 3 QSOs in the last 30 mins. I noticed several claimed scores from IO83
appeared well before the end of the contest?
73
