[UK-CONTEST] February 23cm UK Activity Contest - Report

Tonight's contest was certainly buzzing with activity from G, GM, GI, GD, GW and GU. At least 13 GM's were active from what I was aware.

Conditions appeared quite mixed. Some signals up on usual, others down.
Aircraft activity was predominantly over a westerly flight path over England and therefore contacts assited by aircraft reflection were much harder to come by into the south east.

A recent purchase of an IC910HX was pressed into service for the first time in this contest and I was certainly happy with how it performed.

ODX was an aircraft reflection contact with OZ1FF, followed by a rapid QSY and QTF change to net PA0EHG just as two aircraft arrived at our mid-point.
G4EAT, G4NBS, G0MJW, G8CUL and M0GHZ produced very good long haul "G" signals during an evening with fewer gotaways than usual.
