[UK-CONTEST] Contesting is unfair.

If it's any consolation Gordon, I operated 4U1ITU along with K1ZZ, PB2T,
VA3SB and a couple other ops. We used an IC7700/PW1 combination with beams
up over 120 feet. We managed just over 2,000 QSOs of which 1,100 were on
40M.
Why so few? The ITU building is almost downtown, in a bowl and surrounded by
buildings generating horrendous noise levels, especially on 80 and 15M. We
knew the stations were there calling us but were unable to dig them out of
the noise. If Dave K1ZZ can't dig them out then no-one can.
There are too many variables in contesting to say what is fair or not.
That's the way of the world I'm afraid......
At least we'll win the contest for 4U !!!
