[UK-CONTEST] AFS from the Leicestershire

Hi 

Had my best ever AFS, thought that activity was down this year.   Operated from 
a very soggy stretch of old railway line in South Leicestershire with the dipole 
suspended from a redundant cell mast.  Sat on 3540 for most of the time, then 
qsy'd for search and pounce just prior to the band changing as dusk approached.  
Did a full sweep of the band and worked lots of new ones. 


Easy to get a clear freq for the last hour to do a bit more calling, mixed with 
a couple of s/p's......FT1Kmk5 and 400 watts.
