John,
Firstly you need to select a server from the dropdown list. I have found, in
the past, some servers don't work and others eventually seem to get switched
off and cease working. Others are not public. I have used a number of
different servers over the years and always find one that works. I am using
<tick.uh.edu> at the moment, that is well down the list at the University of
Houston TX. I also have the box ticked so that it synchronises every 60
minutes.

John
I'm using D4 without any issues. As it happens the server I chose is ntp0 in
Cambridge.
I've ticked the boxes "load dimension 4 at startup" and "once loaded wait on
line". Other than that I'm afraid I can't help.

Many thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I've just tried Dimension
4 with all the UK servers with no luck. I just get the message "Timed
out while waiting for a response from the server" message. I've taken
the firewall down and tried again but still no luck. Do I have to do
anything else other than just install the software, select the server
and click ok it doesn't look like it? Am I missing something obvious?
