Hello again all,

Many thanks for the replies. Yes I do have the correct leads. Yes I have read
the manual. But could not fathom this one out - maybe I should not have tried
after a 14 hour shift in work, a drive to Southampton and back in the middle of
it, and then with an hours travel at each side of it!

Thanks to Fred (G4BWP/ZS6) for directing me to the wiring diagram i colour.
Looks like I will be busy with the soldering iron over the weekend.

Again many thanks all.

Chris there are different "Set of leads for
different rigs" so the multiway "D" PLUG ON
THE CASE should have a marker. DB37-FT-1000MP
http://www.microham.com/Downloads/MK_English_
Manual.pdf YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE MANUAL.

http://www.microham-usa.com/Products/MK/Cable
s/DB37-FT-1000MP.pdf this shows the MP
Cable details.

Yes the MP does require a phono for 13.8v

Now use the MK11 exclusively had 3-MK1 and
they are messy to set up but once done work
fine..

Subject: [CDXC] Microham Microkeyer and
connections

Hello all,

Sorry for the cross posting to start with, I
know a number of you subscribe to
both reflectors.

Is there any one on either reflector using
the Microham Microkeyer for there
digimodes? I have just obtained a Microham
Microkey 1 with all the leads to go
on to the FT1000MP MkV, but I can't get it to
work. Now looking at the leads it
looks like there should be a phono type plug
on a spare wire for the 13.5V
output from the radio, am I right in thinking
this? Or am I getting my wires
crossed? (Excuse the pun, but I have seen
worse on here!) All other leads are
clearly marked (RTTY, Packet, AF, etc) apart
from this blue one.

Any help is most appreciated.

many thanks in advance
