I concur exactly Mike. I was up by 16% in QSOs but suspect I shall end
up with a lower score when I get around to entering it into SD. No
VE6/7, or the NW states to be heard. Some of the easy mults
(TK/HB0/OH0/KV4) were either not there this year or hiding themselves
well. And I couldn't raise ZC4LI, who was doing a lot of S&P and was a
watery signal even when running. I really needed the half-finished loop
- there were layers of W6s at the peak on Sunday morning that were just
too marginal on the transmitting wire - felt really bad about that!
Incidentally, this was a good opportunity to compare our signals on the
East and West coasts using reverse beacon - we each won some!
