[UK-CONTEST] OT: Aluminium welding

Hi all

I've noticed on eBay a large number of kits available which apparently
enable anyone with a hobby blow-torch to weld aluminium. Reading into it,
it's actually brazing aluminium, because the parent metal is not melted.
Nevertheless it looks interesting for making and repairing aerials or masts
for example.

One trade name is Durafix Easyweld. 

Has anyone used this with success, or is it too good to be true ?

I'm cynical because I've seen real ally welding and it's a skilled job,
almost an art.
