[UK-CONTEST] OT: Aluminium welding

John, You are spot on (oh!, no pun intended!!) - my neighbour Andy GM0UDL
works offshore and he had to go on a special ali welding course - he makes
it look easy but I can assure anyone it is far from it!

Will be interesting to hear any answers to your posting; depending on the
info I may go for one myself.
