But some HF contests (eg RSGB/EU sprints, CwOps minitests) have ditched reports (ie 599) altogether and maybe others should too. I gather the 'report' anyway isn't adjudicated in most so is superfluous other than acting as a cue for the important bit of the exchange which follows.
