Its interesting to note the "so far" claimed scores for this event--The top three groups, despite claims to the contrary, all have had the advantage of an East Coast location and have no doubt been able to amass much of their Km points total by primarily working continental "DX".
Congratulations should be given to these 3 top teams (claimed scores to date) on their effort and I suspect that after adjudication they will retain their position.
However special note should be made of the effort of the G8NEY/P team, who from their much more westerly location in IO81 have managed to amass the "best" number of multipliers of any group and in QSO`s and points total are only just short of the G5LK & G0VHF totals.
G4ZAP will almost certainly be awarded the Ist position, but my only gripe, (although it isl not likely to make any difference to the overall score) is that apparently the only station
operating from GJ should come on and make only one QSO and that with G4ZAP. If scores had been so close with any of the other stations that this extra multiplier would have made a significant difference to who would be the winner I would have suspected a fiddle.
Many thanks go to all stations taking part who made contact with the G8NEY/P station.
Regards Chris G0HFX -----------(along with M0GHZ & 2E0NEY made up the G8NEY/P team)

Its a shared personal project (free) rather than a product sold to make money, but also worth a look if you use the OSX platform. It also crosses the divide between HF and VHF/UHF contest logging in one application, and is perhaps unique in supporting the Club Calls contest with full length names.

Nothing was heard from anyone in IO82 and I see from the claimed score comments I wasn't alone, so it brought a wry smile to read the comments from one station active from IO82 asking that folk look his way. My answer is, we were!
