As one of those home-based stations you mention - I'm (like most others the
same position who are) limited on the amount of weekends and
hours-per-weekends I can put into radio.  'Thats Life'. sorry.

I'm all for bringing people into contesting. I think busier UKAC Tuesday
nights may inspire more people to go on  to play more at the weekend -
especially with improved condx. (I had a play last weekend with my first
70MHz contacts ever).

Perhaps the RSGB could promote weekend contests from email lists on the UKAC
claimed scores page for starters - get the willing in and then think about
others after?
