[UK-CONTEST] Long calls.

I think anyone visiting Scotland should be proud to use GM in their prefix!
Many a time I have crossed the border in QSO and been a G one over and a GM
or GW the next!

Mine says GM4FDM

if I were you, I'd send it backand get them to re-issue it. Just
recently I heard a mobile station on 20m he was calling as M0***/M
in Stirling Scotland. Either he doesnt know the rules or was just
being crass.

As a RSGB Sub Buro Manager for the GM4 calls, it never fails to amaze me
how many G4s come to Scotland for a Contest, a holiday,
a weekend trip or whatever, but never think to send an envelope for buro
cards. I have to chase Gs around the country
to get them to uplift their cards. This includes G4s with club calls
which sometimes are more difficult to trace. I have
had letters and emails returned saying simply - "sorry I am no longer
the secretary" without any thought of
passing the message along. No wonder we QSL managers get tetchy.!
