[UK-CONTEST] 50MHz UKAC: Who did we miss?

Alex,

For some reason team M0GVG/P frequently misses you and it’s not
for a want of beaming towards GM. I guess that you’re just buried under the
general mêlée of stations in our home square (IO83) and, unless you stumble
across us, never the two shall meet! As Eddie mentions, below, IO83 is a
pretty busy patch and finding a perch to operate from can prove challenging
in some contests.

Having played around with different equipment over the past few years, it’s
an education to experience how much better a radio with a decent front-end
deals with strong local signals, than one with a run of the mill front-end
does (doesn’t).

Anyway, that IO86 multiplier is always welcome! We’ll keep looking for
you!

Roger, G0BSU (M0GVG/P)

I notice this "deaf" station business quite a lot. I am talking about
sigs which are genuine S7 to S9 but do not respond when I call and they
just carry on CQ'ing. I am running legal limit on 6M, so it's not lack
of power at this end?
