  Yes, it does make things difficult. I don't see why the dates cannot be 
arranged much sooner than they are. 

Hopefully Ed will be reading this and try to get them sorted sooner this year!

If I remember rightly last year the next year HF contest calendar was 
issued in the Autumn. An earlier date would be better for my club.
