[UK-CONTEST] Planning Traumas in Lincolnshire - latest update

I am sorry if this is getting boring but it is about the only amateur radio activity in which I am currently involved. I can't believe that other people have ever had similar traumas. The application should be heard at the full council planning committee on 23 June and at least something should be progressed then.

If you have previously posted a message of support you will now receive yet another letter from East Lindsey showing a Titanex vertical and asking for comment. Please reply with a comment of support on the ELDC website.

The opposition are having a field day of their own with all the extended time for comments. They apparently spend each weekend going from house to house collecting support and now the count is 115 Against and 91 In Favour. One most recent comment mentions that "an approach to Mr Totterdell was done when the initial application become public knowledge" - this is complete barking nonsense - the neighbour in question banged on my door then when I answered he shouted at me to retract the planning application - I invited him in to discuss it and he refused - he repeated his demand and then stormed off saying that "if I wanted a battle, I was going to get one". Well I've certainly got a battle - but I am sure the majority of his supporters would not be so keen if they had witnessed this outburst. I was quite shaken and went to another neighbour who kindly gave me a glass of rum to calm me down.

This process has occupied far too much of my time when I have important work commitments and I have been close to pulling the plug on it but one immediate neighbour has been extremely supportive, even though he will have a clear view of the Titanex if it is ever erected.

The planners now want a drawing of an M80 HD Mobile Versatower. If you have one please send me a pdf or dxf. I have a complete engineering drawing of an M100 but this is not what I want the planners to see! Otherwise I will be drawing a simplified drawing of the mobile tower.
