CQ don't seem fussed about the physical number of transmitters used in any 
category, their focus appears to be upon the number of signals radiated at 
one time.  I too have listened to C4N and have failed to find a single 
incidence of more than one signal on a band at one time.

I have no connection with the C4N group and have no knowledge of the 
category they entered.  However, so far as I can see, their interleaved run 
stations on a single band appear consistent with recent rule 
interpretations/enforcements by CQ.

I understand discussions continue over whether this interpretation is the 
appropriate one.  We'll have to see how things play out and whether rule 
clarifications result but if/until then, this is the face of contesting at 
the top of the tree.
