Indeed, let's talk about the contest itself and not the ethics...
Here at G3YMC I did my usual QRP entry with 30 hours operating. Not 
having decent LF antennas I avoided the overnight shift and 
concentrated on 40m and above. Conditions were awful and very few USA 
worked except on 40m - my first hour from 0300z on Saturday was in fact 
the most productive before the solar geomagnetic disturbances arrived. 
Long sporadic E opening on 10m on Saturday, no such luck on Sunday.
603 QSOs, 317 mults, 305k points. Best DX YE1C on 15m which amazed me 
as he was right in the noise...
