I'd be interested in any reports of the contest itself.  I only dabbled 
here.  I always find this contest is just too darn close to NFD and the 
brownie points don't quite stretch to two major contest entries in 
consecutive weekends.

I was called by a few 1x1 G stations on both 40m and, yesterday evening, on 
20m.  I was also called by GZ5Q on 40m.  I queried the call twice and the op 
confirmed it.  Was this a real callsign and is it a legitimate pfx for WPX? 
I know it is for CQWW.  However, I think it was someone pulling my leg.
