[UK-CONTEST] HF NFD RESULTS PUBLISHED

Hi,

It's rare to have single mode contests at VHF/UHF, generally SSB & CW 
operate side by side, with no seperate sections, it's not unknown for mixed 
mode contacts. There are one or two CW only contests, 144 CW Marconi in 
November is one, there's not the clear distinction as at HF, and not the 
huge numbers of op's either, geographically contests are "smaller". Strange 
though as CW is the DX mode at VHF, but SSB dominates in contests.

As for the rules, well they are in the process of being updated, but look to 
be just as complex as before. Contesting at VHF & HF is different, it's rare 
you wouldn't go 30mins on HF without a contact, but you would at 432Mhz :0(
