Very interesting to see the analysis on conditions and activity,I was on for an approx 8 hour (SO assisted) session from Saturday
sunset to check out a few things on the rx side so the comments are very helpful.
Didn't
think much of the easterly dx - UA9/UK/UN/4X/5B worked, YC0LOW/1 heard
for ages (the only station at any kind of distance) but with an
unbreakable pileup, and nothing from JA/VK etc.
Only stations to the south were EA8 and 5N (could swear there was something
else I called but can't remember now), what else was on?
I didn't really stay on late enough for prime-time to the States, but thought signals to the west were "ok" when I went QRT - nothing from SA by that point though. Congrats to Don on a great QSO to HK0 :)
Totals here were 513/47/21/199920

Could hear Az and Ca well, but no response. I think conditions were really quite poor and certainly no JA (just UA9s in quantity). Could not raise the XE's even though they were good copy here.
