The policy with Aston Scott is what is available to all Affiliated 
clubs at no extra cost. That is for Public Liability insurance only. 
Clubs do not have to apply for this separately and RSGB are effectively 
the insured party on behalf of its members.

Before they introduced this scheme RSGB recommended ARIS, and clubs 
could have it just for PLI or also for equipment cover. Presumably many 
clubs do still have ARIS/Blue Fin policies, but these will now be 
directly arranged with Blue Fin. These policies are totally separate 
from the RSGB Affiliated Societies included cover.
