[UK-CONTEST] 21/28MHz contest - G3SJJ

Along with the 432 IARU contest this weekend I fully intended to dip my toe
in the waters of 10M for this one. I only found Darren in 5B land at 0719z
and no one else about, so went off to play 432. When I came back later, the
band was more active with everyone from casual CQers to serious "not in my
contester" ers, so I didn't work anyone else. Had I had more time to devote
to 10M no doubt I'd have worked a few more. A very low dipole and 100w SSB
make CQing a non-starter so S&P would be the name of the game.

I'm a collector and like to get new islands, countries, states, whatever,
and contesting helps out with that as stations are looking for all the
contacts they can get, or are they? Some are very selective due to their
contest rules which tends to put me off calling them. It doesn't apply to
everyone, and I no it's not personal when I call and stations say "XXX only"
but having so many contests on one band on one day with different rules is
off putting.

Don't worry about getting into Glasgow, worry about getting
out.......................... :0)
