Fond memories of antenna testing.

Gleaned from sm3bg website:
Test Rules 10 meters (NAC NRAU activity test) Purpose: The 10-meter test is 
a relaxed and whose purpose is to amuse and create more activity in the 
28-29 MHz band.
When: The first Thursday of each month. * CW: 19:00 to 20:00 * SSB: 20:00 to 
21:00 * FM: 21:00 - 22.00 * MGM / Digital: 22:00 to 23:00 Test times are 
local time, summer and winter the same time points.
NOTE: DO NOT UTC! Same times throughout Scandinavia as the VHF / UHF / SHF.
Please note that the times in the logs shall be specified in UTC Classes and 
recommended frequencies: * A = CW / CW: 28.040 + / - 30 kHz * B = SSB / 
Telephony: 28.500 + / - 50 kHz * C = FM / Telephony: 29.600 + / -80 kHz * D 
= MGM / Digital: The band plan. (All Machine-Generated Modulation such as 
RTTY, Amtor, Pactor, PSK31, JT65, FSK441) * E = sum of 1, 2, 3 or 4 classes: 
B, A + B, A + C, A + B + C A + B + C + D, etc..
Each class is a test order. The same station may be worked once every hour.
Participating station logs must be in the same place during the entire test.
Reg.1 IARU Band Plan should be followed.
Test Message: RS / T, and locator. (539 JO65MJ or 57-JO89WM)
Points: 1 point per started kilometers, and 500 bonus points for each new 
Locator (JO44-JO59 etc.).
Diploma: Diploma awarded to the year's three best in each class.
The 9 best tests counted for annual earnings.
Logs: All logs must contain; own call and locator, date. For each QSO is, 
time, call, send and received RS / T, fashion, locator and requested points 
out.
Results are published in the QTC.
The log will be test leader later Wednesday after the test.

It would be worth bringing up at the Contest Forum this
weekend, and see what the general opinion is.  Of course,
the newcomers we want to get on the air at are unlikely to
be there at the Convention, but we can probably make a good
guess as to their reaction.  I believe there are 10m
activity sessions organised by one of the Scandinavian
countries, and it would be worth seeing if there could be
any overlap.
