     In the May, 2003 issue of QST, there is a page 1 advertisement for
the new Icom IC-703, an HF QRP radio with the same form factor and front
panel design as the IC-706MkIIG.  In the ad, Icom seems to take a dim
view of VHF/UHF weak signal operators:

"* HF or HF & 6M only.  Icom's engineers focused on the bands that really 
   mean the most to QRP operators. A VHF/UHF rig is called a HT!"

     "A VHF/UHF rig is called a HT!" is actually italicized.  It is the only 
italicized text in the ad.
