To tell the truth, I get in on these VHF+ contests mainly to make some
QSO's. The bands, especially 222 and up, are generally so devoid of
activity in this area that I'm just happy to hear and work some people.
If I worked only one station but worked him on all bands from 50 through
10368 MHz, I'd feel I'd accomplished something.  I usually don't have any
thought of competition or winning.  Oddly enough, I've won Central
Division QRP-Portable a few times.  :-)

IMO, keep those bands active.  The more, the merrier!
