Not necessarily.  Even if I do not own equipment for one of these bands, I
would fight like hell to keep them, because it wouldn't be right for others to
lose out on their bands, their investments, and all the BST (Blood/Sweat/Tears)
they have invested.  I support the ARRL and their efforts to save the bands
from extinction, and I think most folks do.  It still comes down to money
though.

So, Exactly how much does a new Icom D-10 cost anyway?  Will seeing the sticker
cause me to have an embolism?  How many have they sold to-date?  Sometimes I
think these devices are like concept cars at the Detroit auto show.  Nice to
look at, but I'd never be able to afford one.
