I've had good experiences with my two VHF Mirage amps.  I have both the
3020 and a 3010.  I have used them for many years in several less than
ideal VSWR situations. They have given me good service.

I suspect some those who have had problems may have generated their
"negatives" from their own limitations and attitudes.
