Major Es opening on 6M Labor Day, well into Sept 02 utc. Worked several log 
pages of 2s, 3s, 4s, 8s and 9s. Even heard Ed, VP9GE briefly at 0040 utc 
Sept. 02. Had the HC8GR/b in around 2200 utc Sept. 01. If an opening like 
this happens during the contest....

Tropo this morning on 2M to Canada. VE3AX heard the K0UO/b em07 (10 w, omni 
ant) from 1415 - 1445 utc. 10 more days to the contest and counting down.
