 I wouldn't think of passing up a cross mode contact, QSO's are too hard to 
come by.  I seem to catch several each contest, both while on SSB and CW.  
Sometimes I can't quite make out a call of a station calling me on SSB, I 
ask for them to try CW and it usually makes the difference.  I also have 
done the reverse, when a station has a problem hearing me, I will call him 
on CW and again, it usually works. Also, there are a few QRP level stations 
that spend a lot of their time on CW to make the most of their low power.
