Yes, Rick, there is 4 volts on the antenna. This is also the case on the 
IC-502. This is to allow the radio to drive an ICOM amp, which has to be 
biased to take the drive. I had the 502 which used an IC-50L(I think the 2m 
was a 20L). Anyway, you could block the DC with a low value (<2 to 5 
pF)capacitor to the input of the transverter.Just a thought.
