Hi Dan,
Thank you for offering the list some guidance on the
topic.  Would you mind putting this to bed in a final
way by resolving an apparent contradiction?

>From "General Rules for ARRL Contests on Bands Above
50 MHz" (which as at the same prescedence as 2.3 and
2.3.1 above we also find:

1.3.A transmitter, receiver, or antenna used to
contact one or more stations may not subsequently be
used under any other call during the contest period,
except as provided for in General Rules for All ARRL
Contests number 3.5.
----------------------------------------------------

It has been speculated that this reinstates the family
rule and sets up a cyclical contradiction in the
process.  It would help alot of us if you could
further clarify the relationship of 1.3 to the topic
under discussion; please?
