I echo this sentiment. While I could let you know what parts
aren't perfect, I will tell you, instead, that I think the changes
are an improvement.

Ditto here.  Well done one-and-all.  I'm interested to see how this actually ends up playing out, but overall...anything that makes it more fun is a good thing in my opinion.
