[VHFcontesting] [VHF] FT857D on VHF/UHF

Hi John,

I'm planning to find out:-)  My "new" Rover rig is an FT897D, which is 
basically the same radio electrically.

I've been told the front end doesn't fair well on crowded bands.  But 
around here crowded bands aren't much of a problem:-)
