K4UVA will be active during the entire sprint from FM17. I'll be running
100 watts into a 4 element yagi at 2280 ASL. I hope these strong storms
don't make conditions worse than they already are! Some E's would be
great!

JT, I'd be happy to try to make a QSO with you sometime Saturday
afternoon.

Would you be interested in testing the latest version of RFSport Online
Logger for the 6-meter sprint? It is available for download from
RFSport.com.

Note: 99% of users experience no problems...but I'm chasing the 1% that
do (be prepared to contact me to work-through the circumstances of any
problems you may have...please). If you plan on using it...please
download it early and use the "Practice" mode to become familiar with it
before the event begins.

Regards,
Ev, W2EV

I have for sale an Icom 746 HF/6m/2m transceiver in
very good condition. It does 100 watts on HF as well
as on 6m and 2m, which makes it a very good VHF DXing
and contesting rig. It works fine and the case is in
good condition with a couple of light marks on the
bottom of the case. It comes with a power cord, hand
mic, original manual, and original box. The 746 has
DSP, as well as a built in memory keyer and autotuner.
I am asking $725 plus shipping from zip 73507.

73s John AA5JG

VHF Enthusiasts everywhere: We are nearly complete on processing scores
from the 2007 CQWW VHF Contest held last July. Though conditions were
certainly not up to the previous year's standards [what could be?].there
were quite a few bright spots and the number of log entries continues to
be encouraging. This 2 and 6 meter only contest continues to have broad
appeal. We could use some help in two departments though:
1.	If you have any photos of your station in operation during the
2007 contest, please send them along for CQ publication consideration.
You can reach me at w1xx at cq-amateur-radio.com.
2.	Most of our plaque sponsors have signed up to continue..but
there are openings for plaque sponsorship. We would especially welcome
seeing more CLUB sponsorship of plaques. Can you get your club
involved? For more information about how to sponsor one of these
beautiful plaques, click the link on www.cqww-vhf.com
<http://www.cqww-vhf.com/> .

Your continued support of this fun contest is very much appreciated.
Look for the 2007 results in CQ Magazine in an early 2008 issue. 73 &
good DX!!

Well, I haven't been able to arrange a sked with anyone or make any
contacts since building my transverter. However, my transverter seems
pretty stable as I've been tuned to K1MS/B for the past two days
straight and haven't had to touch the VFO on the IF rig (K2).

Hopefully, all is set here for the sprint tomorrow. I seriously doubt
I will make very many contacts but as long as I make at least one I
will be happy. I think I will try out the RFSport Logger for this
contest.
