Well it looks like I'm still "go" for the contest this weekend. From
the looks of the forecast I will likely get wet, but at least it should
keep the temperature down a bit.

I'm not planning a big trip, but I will be back in the saddle.

Saturday morning I will be tail-gating at the Louisville [KY] hamfest,
and will start the contest from the grounds there. I can't remember the
6 digit grid, but it will be the northeast corner of EM77.

After a couple of hours, I will head up to *EM78bp, one of my favorite
sites. A hilltop in a state park. I'll try to keep it under 2 hours
in this grid, and then on to the next:

**EM68wo, a city park at about 900' **elevation and a good horizon.
**[for you mountain folk, that's huge in Indiana] I'll stay with EM68
through the evening as long as there is activity, then head home for a
few hours sleep.

Sunday morning I will head up to B**rown County state park, and EM69vd.
Fire Tower hill is over 1000' and one of the highest points in the
state. Normally a very good site. I'll stay here through the morning,
and sometime around noon I will head over to EM79.

I've never found a location in EM79 I really like, but I will likely
stop somewhere near **EM79bf. I'll spend a few hours here, and then
sometime in late afternoon, or early evening, I'll head for home in EM78el.

That will give me 5 grids, at an easy pace. Should help me get back
into the swing of things.

Equipment:

FT897D
6M, 100 watts, Par Moxon rectangle @ 25'
2m, 50 watts, 10 elements, @ 18'
432, 35 watts, 11 elements, @ 21'

Good luck to all!
