[VHFcontesting] controversy

I'm getting personal e-mails calling me a liar. The call sign of the undocumented rover is posted on the soap box. It also looks like he made significant qsos as well.as per the soap box post. Believe me I understand the distances of significant shrink as frequency increases.

It is sad that people involved with this group would e-mail me directly to call names and it speaks to their character. I am a rover, I am not bashing rovers, I have a problem with their operation. Some of these hams also run fine HF contests and are accomplished there. Others do well in microwave contests. I’m sure they are for the most part good people. I just disagree with their tactics.

You can tell the months these strings have came out because the file for the month is bigger. It will not go away until its properly addressed. If the ARRL wants to support people who respond to reasonable differences of opinions with harassment.

Let them.

If you want to change my opinion, I ask again WHERE”S THE BEEF?
What are the percentages of self generated QSOS and multipliers in their scores.
How many individual stations did they work as compared to others.
I believe this is how you can prove me wrong.
Talking back to one station 146 times does not prove you tried to work the community in general. Especially when said station writes me and calls me a liar. One would suspect that they are part of the team effort. Similar to the complaints back east.

These guys are not the only ones working in the gray areas, they are the only ones partially open about how they achieve their goals. If the high school quarterback should show up to the prom in a pink dress, he should be surprised about the nature of the discussions to follow.
