This sprint was the incentive I needed to focus on finishing some 6M
projects.

I had acquired an SB-200 a couple of months ago and converted the 10M
position to 6M, and this was the first real test of it. It held up well
putting out 350w on cw and running 250w pep on ssb driven by my FT-897.

A few days before the sprint I had decided to move a 5 element yagi higher
up on the tower which took four trips up and down in between other
obligations and the rain. Saturday morning I was not happy with its swr so I
made a few more climbs to try some things and take some measurements,
without much luck in bringing the swr down. More work is required here and I
was not sure how well it would do last night. But it seemed to work ok
despite the matching problem. As WA2VNV said, "I guess that's one of the
things these sprints do for us." Roger that!!

44 Q's in 16 grids for a score of 704.

Thanks to all, hope to work you in June, Sept, Jan...
