Hello all,
I am Michelle,WW7F. I have been considering buying a Yaesu FT 817 or Nd model, I know it is a qrp rig but I would appreciate any feedback from users/owners, I am looking for that or maybe an IC706mk2g, but heard it is not good on upper bands, broad and deaf some have told me, same re the FT100d, no ft100 many issues I understand with it, FT 857 but I wanted primarily something to take with me, IMO better than an HT in some cases ,anyhow I am open to advice and any offers of rigs, maye there is one you know of and I don't, just would appreciate some good advice form you all, this is my first posting to this group though I have been a subscriber for a few years:) Thanks all for your time and I hope you forgive my rambling, I am recovering from a concussion, kind of hard lately to explain what I need or want,VY73 all, Sincerely,Michelle WW7F> From: vhfcontesting-request at contesting.com> Subject: VHFcontesting Digest, Vol 73, Issue 20> To: vhfcontesting at contesting.com> Date: Fri, 16 Jan 2009 09:00:04 -0800> > Send VHFcontesting mailing list submissions to> vhfcontesting at contesting.com> > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit> http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/vhfcontesting> or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to> vhfcontesting-request at contesting.com> > You can reach the person managing the list at> vhfcontesting-owner at contesting.com> > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific> than "Re: Contents of VHFcontesting digest..."> > > Today's Topics:> > 1.
