[VHFcontesting] Operation from FM25

Jim,

I most certainly will be listening for you. Since I do most of my
contesting from FM19 and am a fairly avid QRPer even at VHF freqs., I have
never really thought about a frequency since I mainly S&P.

Since you mentioned it I will most likely be around 50.142, 144.242 and
432.142. This may move around based on others nearby transmitting.

Plans are now to begin the top of the hour pointing northeast (toward CT,
ME, etc.) and slowly moving counter-clockwise to the south (SC, FL) by the
end of the hour and then reversing antenna rotation. This is all subject to
propagation so there may be times that the timing doesn't work as planned.

Jeff,

Will certainly be watching for you. Do you hang out on any particular
frequency? I am usually around 144.180-185. Call if you hear. Open to a
sked if you would like.

Good morning all. I hope that everyone is doing well. As expected I
arrived in South Nags Head (FM25) on Saturday evening. What was not
expected was that I would have cracked the engine block on the car.but that
is being taken care of.

I still plan on being QRV from the beach on a limited basis Saturday and
probably more on Sunday throughout the day. I will spend more time on 2
meters, unless we have interesting propagation on 6 or 432.

I have the Icom IC706MKIIG and a Par Stressed Moxon for 6, and Elk log
periodic for 2 and 432. I hope to get the antennae up off the ground at
least 20 feet.but that cannot be guaranteed.so I will do the best I can.

Hope to hear a bunch of signals down this way.

73 and good luck to all in the contest.
