This 5-day long contest is timed to coincide with the Geminids meteor shower. It has been a lot of fun in the past, and this year promises to be no different! Plan to get WSJT fired up and get on 6m or 2m starting at 0000 UTC (Friday evening in North America). You can also try meteor scatter QSOs on 222 and 432 MHz for extra-big multipliers!

“Assisted” contacts (i.e., scheduled in real time using Ping Jockey) are “legal” and encouraged. PJ use will be heavy, so keep your posts short and to a minimum. The usual PJ rules apply: NO communication on PJ about the QSO while it is in progress, or else it’s a busted QSO and has to be started over. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO COMMENTS FROM THIRD PARTIES. Don’t comment on or paste captures of other people’s QSOs!

Random contacts are also legal and in many cases will actually take less time to complete than going to PJ, especially when PJ use is very heavy. Listen for a minute after completing a contact for tail-enders!

See you in the contest!
